He recounts a sticky client situation where the company President delegated a task to his internal marketing department. The employee soon ran up the time clock to the President’s dismay, spending both company and contractor time needlessly and making the argument for fully outsourced solutions rather obvious. Schecter salvaged the relationship and, in light of the current economic crisis, still maintains that keeping a current client happy is easier than answering an RFP.
